
10 Week Beginners Course

Special 10 week TaiChi course for complete beginners will run on Thursday evening from 6.00pm to 7.00pm at the Regent Rooms.
The purpose of this special 10 week course is to allow you to experience and learn the fundamental basics of TaiChi from the complete beginners perspective and in a class full of other complete beginners just like you. TaiChi is actually a very advanced movement art and many people can feel put off coming into a new class where students have been practicing for some time.The classes will be specially structured to enable you to learn the first section of the TaiChi Form of which there are 3 sections in total. Each week just 1 or 2 new movements will be added. You will also learn a full set of warm up exercises in the same way, adding just 1 or 2 in each class.
You will be introduced to the specific healing qualities of each TaiChi posture as you learn them.
On completing this 10 week beginners course you will be more than able to join in one of the regular ongoing classes with complete confidence if you wish to continue learning more. You are also welcome to join the next course if you feel you would like to do it again. The course will have a free taster session the week before on the 9th Feb to help you decide before paying for the 10 week course.
