Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a therapeutic bodywork technique that dates back thousands of years and originating from the Indian Yoga Tradition. It came to Thailand and was developed and practiced as a way of keeping healthy and fit and practicing Loving Kindness or Metta.

What does it do?
Thai Yoga massage is a complete and comprehensive treatment for body, mind and soul. It stimulates the flow of the body's natural healing energy and also stretches the whole body using applied Yoga Postures.
You don't have to be flexible or practicing Yoga to have a Thai massage but you will get all of those benefits.

How is it done?
You are fully clothed and lying on the floor on a soft mat. Treatment is done in a quiet peaceful environment to allow relaxation and healing to take place. As the receiver of the treatment you need do nothing more.
You will be slowly and gently moved through a series of applied Yoga postures and stretches while more familiar massage techniques are used and acupressure points are stimulated to enhance the healing benefits.
Thai massage is done in a slow, rhythmic flowing manner enabling you to move through a much greater range of movement than you would normally be able to achieve on your own. This means that you get very fast results.

I became a Thai Yoga massage Master Practitioner by training at the Body Harmonics centre of Oriental Bodywork where my diploma was achieved with distinction.

Practicing the oriental healing and warrior arts has been a passion of mine and at the core of my life for more than 25 years. My lifelong practice of Tai Chi and Taoist Yoga has given me unique and highly skilled qualities that I bring to my Thai Massage treatments
