This Form requires only a small space for it's practice.

You will learn fundamental exercises and movement patterns that teach beginners how to move in the Tai Chi Way.
These exercises help to connect the Body and Mind and develop a relaxed, calm and energized state. Like a moving meditation that also brings good health.
The class starts with exercises to warm up and loosen the whole body.
A sequence of 13 Zhang Zhong (Standing Stake) energy/power generating postures are used to calm the mind and create a deep state of physical and mental relaxation and increase the flow of energy whilst also conditioning the body & mind.
The Tai Chi Form is broken down into smaller sections and each posture is described in detail. In time the movements become like flowing water. With more practice, students are taught how to include the powerful and explosive movements into the Form.
Very calming, soothing, balancing and centering for Body & Mind.

ADVANCED CLASS
This advanced class takes place on the same evening but at an earlier time. Here we practice further aspects of Tai Chi such as the Pao Chui Cannon Pounding Form. The emphasis is on fast and explosive Fajin movements that help teach and improve the self-defence/combat elements of Tai Chi.
We also do Tui Shou or Pushing Hands partner exercises and various Self Defence Applications.
Weapons Forms are included in this class.
Students of this class must attend the 7pm class for some time before trying this class.
ZHANG SANFENG - WUDANG INTERNAL SYSTEM

MONDAY EVENINGS
The original Zhang Sanfeng Wudang system is working at the highest level of internal martial arts practice.
The emphasis in this class is the original Wudang Internal system created by Zhang Sanfeng. It is the origin of all other internal styles & contains the highest levels of self-defense & healing.
This class teaches the main solo Forms of the system plus the training drills for fighting applications which combine solo forms and working with partners.
Weapons Forms and their self-defense training applications include knives and sticks as well as the more traditional weapons such as swords and spears.
This is a private class - access requires attendance in any of my other classes. If you would like to try this class, please ask me about it.
